About Postnatal Check for New Mums

The Postnatal Check and rehabilitation programme at Dr Emma Clinics is designed to support women who experience changes in their pelvic floor after childbirth. Many women may develop conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse or urinary incontinence, and our programme is led by Ms Marian McGuinness, a specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapist. The consultation includes a thorough assessment of your pelvic floor, abdominal muscles, and any physical issues stemming from pregnancy and delivery, whether vaginal or caesarean. We create a bespoke recovery plan that includes posture, breathing techniques, and core activation to help you reconnect with your body and restore your confidence.
